Due to the summer season, a group of young people from the "Labor 2.0: Garantía Juvenil" project of the municipalities of Totana, Alhama de Murcia and Mazarrón visited the coastal area of ​​Mazarrón municipality on 12 July. Besides taking a bath in one of its beaches, they made a boat trip visualizing the coast of the Port of Mazarrón.
During the trip, through the captain's explanations, the young people were able to learn more about the coastline of our region, as well as enjoying the scenery, the stories of the area and the seabed thanks to the panoramic view of the ship.
The project "Labor 2.0: Youth Guarantee", which is carried out from the Collective for Social Promotion El Candil and is funded by the European Social Fund under the Youth Employment Operational Program and the Autonomous Community of the Region Of Murcia, has been carrying out, as part of its various activities, group activities of social, cultural and sporting content with the young participants.
With this type of activities carried out from the project, it is intended to bring the participants closer to the reality of their environment, as well as to strengthen the cohesion of the group and the forged partnership during their participation in the project.
It also aims to stimulate and encourage the participation and activation of young people participating in the project, as well as transmit values, encourage creativity, learn about resources and promote healthy habits, trying to have a positive impact on the process of improving the level of employability , In which they are immersed.
Among the activities that have been carried out we can highlight;
The preparation and participation in the Meeting of Associations "Plaza Solidaria", held in the municipality of Totana.
Several walking routes have been carried out, the Strait of Arboleja and the castle of the municipality of Aledo have been visited and a guided visit to a pottery has been held in Totana, a very traditional trade in this municipality, where young people could practice and get to know Aspects related to ceramics.
In addition the young people who have participated in the occupational training that have been done since the project, which have been two;
ï‚· Auxiliary activities of trade and
ï‚· Basic operations for the maintenance of gardens, parks and green areas,
Have visited real work environments to get a closer look at the reality of the labor market for which they were forming.
The young people who made the training of commerce went to the logistic platform of the cooperative Consum and the others to a company of ecological nurseries.
Through the project "Labor 2.0: Youth Guarantee" is intended to support, inform, train and guide young participants interested in improving their employability and socio-labor insertion or get them to resume studies / training to improve their future employability.
To this end, the young people participating in the project are accompanied by an individualized and consensual process of orientation, individualized tutorials, group training workshops, occupational training, group activities ... developing and promoting their capacities, potentialities and strategies.
