The Department of Parks and Gardens has completed the works of conditioning in the area of ​​children's games in the garden of the Center for Sociocultural "La Cárcel", whose investment amounts to approximately 7,400 euros.
The mayor, Andrés García, and the councilman of the branch, Víctor Balsas, visited yesterday the garden in order to know first hand how they have remained the actions carried out in this infrastructure in recent days.
The actions consisted in the placement of two centimeters of continuous pavement to guarantee the safety of the users in the different games, thus adapting them to the community regulations.
In addition, a new slide has been placed since the previous one did not comply with the regulations;
And the rest of games have been painted and reinforced to adapt them to the current legislation.
During this legislature, the Department of Parks and Gardens has made a careful and ambitious plan to improve existing infrastructure in different areas of the urban area, fixing existing ones that were in deplorable conditions and building new ones.
Among these have been built a new park in the area of ​​Triptolemos and has been conditioned the "Diego Manzano" in the neighborhood of the High Era.
The "Tierno Galván" and the fairgrounds have also been improved, and in September the works of the "Marcos Ortiz" municipal playground will begin.
