The more than 40 families from the upper area of ​​Santa Eulalia Avenue have been solving the problems of water pressure that affected their homes for several years, thanks to the works undertaken by the Department of Water and Sewerage, whose budget has Amounted to 7,600 euros.
As explained by the councilman of the branch, Antonia Camacho, these are high areas of the urban area that were being supplied from the reservoir of the Taibilla in El Rulo, and whose level did not allow for more than one atmosphere of pressure, having to use Deposits and pressure groups in almost all homes.
The actions carried out this week have been to connect the network that supplies these houses in the upper area, with the deposit of Los Secanos, managed by the Canales del Taibilla Mancomunidad, which supplies the population of Totana with the Old from El Rulo.
The whole area of ​​the urbanization La Cruz, lower part of the Gardens of Totana and the street Espuña Sierra are already connected to this new network, improving the pressures and ensuring that they do not suffer frequent water cuts like until now.
"These small works come to solve important problems for our neighbors in the improvement of the quality of an essential service such as drinking water," said the councilor responsible for the Municipal Water Service.
