The "VI Padisito Festival" will take place on 7 and 8 July in the auditorium of the municipal park "Marcos Ortiz" of this locality with an attractive poster of musical groups, some of them local, within the program of musical activities of the Patron saint festivities of Santiago'2017.
The Councilor of Festivities, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, Padisito president, Toñi Cánovas, and one of the promoters of the festival and member of the Rashma Style group, Mateo Montes, presented a new edition of this one.
On Friday, July 7, the musical show will begin at approximately 20:00 hours with the performance of the groups "Santiuve & Da Zoo Bros", "La Bongo", "INK", "Rashma Style", "New formulas" Sweet Style ".
On Saturday July 8 the festival will start at 10:00 pm and will feature "Rubén Pozo" ex "Pereza" -, "Roll Band", "Le décor de Lucía" and "Alfa Radio".
Ticket prices for this solidarity festival are Friday (3 euros) and Saturday (7 euros), while at the box office will be ten euros.
The points of sale of the tickets are established in the Celebration Department of Totana, Padisito (telephone 608-681 899), D-Tablas and Trasiego Bar (Totana), Bar El Zagal (Aledo), Bar Los Olmos (Alhama) and Discos Traffic (Murcia).
With the collection of this festival, the association Padisito carries out different programs and activities aimed at improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families, explained its president Toñi Cánovas.
In addition, these activities include the socio-health care program at home for the most dependent people and includes physiotherapy, family respite and accompaniment services;
And the summer camp designed to offer users leisure and leisure time during their holidays.
This year the camp is scheduled to be held in Cabo de Gata (Almeria) and, in addition, during the summer families are offered respite.
In last year's edition, more than 700 people gathered in this festival.
At present, Padisito has approximately one hundred members and the services of this association benefit between 20 and 25 users.
