The Council of Equality of the City of Totana began yesterday the program of activities for tolerance and equality of Collective LGBT, which is held until tomorrow June 29, and which has the collaboration of the Collective Lesbian, Gay, Transsexual and Bisexual of the Region of Murcia "No te prives".
The first activity was the talk entitled "How to address the affective-sexual diversity and gender identity", given by technician Eva Illán Macanás, in the "Gregorio Cebrián" exhibition hall.
The events officially began last Friday with the placement of the rainbow flag on the balcony of the main facade of the Consistory totanero.
In addition, on Wednesday 28 June, the documentary "Human" will be broadcast at the socio-cultural center "La Cárcel", starting at 20:30 hours, and a forum debate will be held on the reality and diversity of the condition Human.
Also on Thursday June 29 will be a poetry recital titled "For Freedom" in "The Rock Café", which will feature poets from the "Di-versos" Group, such as María José Valenzuela, Juan Campoy, Isabel Romera, Pedro Casamayor, María José Martínez Peña, Inma Pelegrín and Katy Parra;
And the local poets María Dolores Rodríguez and Daniel Crespo (Crespola).
Also, the municipal library has promoted, from 19 to 30 June, a point of interest with a selection of book titles on diversity;
And the activity "Doctor Cuentitis", on June 19 (5:30 p.m.) that will present a short story about gender equality.
