The Department of Sports reports that last Thursday, March 16, took place in the municipal indoor pool and the Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez" a School Aquatic Day and Zumba, organized by the Department of Sports and the Sports Center " MOVE ", where 400 students participated in 6th grade Primary school in ten schools in Totana.
The schools participating in this activity were the Reina Sofía, Tierno Galván, Santa Eulalia, La Cruz, La Milagrosa, Santiago, Comarcal, San José, Luís Pérez Rueda and Guadalentín de El Paretón schools.
During this school day, students had the opportunity to participate in the first part of the morning of a swimming competition in the covered municipal swimming pool, over a distance of 25 meters: first individually and later in the relay mode.
Also, small recreational activities were organized for those students who did not know how to swim.
In the second part of the morning, the students participated in the Municipal Pavilion of Sports "Manolo Ibáñez" in a multitudinous class of Zumba infantile.
