Juan Antonio Martínez Martínez has won the 1st Photo Contest with Mobile Phone with the work "Ya vai ser hora", organized by the Department of Equality of the City of Totana on the occasion of International Women's Day.
The prize of 50 euros was awarded last Saturday coinciding with the celebration of the institutional act for the International Women's Day held in the theater of "La Cárcel".
With this contest, the Council intends to give visibility to Education in Equality under the principles of tolerance, respect, dialogue, freedom, solidarity, democracy, cooperation and coexistence.
All this in order to spread the values ​​of equality between men and women, trying to create a space for reflection, creativity and expression that contributes to a more just and egalitarian society.
The Department of Equality had convened the First Photo Contest with Mobile Phone to celebrate the International Women's Day with the aim of promoting equality between men and women, as well as raising awareness among young people on the importance of co-education.
It was awarded a prize of 50 euros in material of bookstore by category and the awarded works will remain in property of the City council of Totana, being able to be used for its later publication.
