The Mayor and his partner of government lied when they assured that the rise of the IBI was imposed by the State for all the municipalities of Spain
The Popular Party denounces that Totana is the only municipality that rises the IBI, along with Cartagena, as a consequence of the policies of the misrule of the Pact of the Left.
A few days ago, we knew this news in the regional media, where it confirmed again the brutal tax increase contemplated in the Adjustment Plan of the Mayor and endorsed the PSOE after changing its position without giving explanations to the citizens.
The Mayor and his government partner, Mr. Andrés García, lied when they claimed that the rise of IBI was imposed by the State for all the municipality of Spain.
This lie was used as an excuse both in the plenary where the highest tax increase was approved for the residents of Totana and later when the PP denounced in the media this huge rise.
The totaneros are suffering the consequences of a left-wing government that is incapable of working with common sense and for the good of its people, who only knows how to complain to justify their incapacity of management, more occupied in their internal disputes to defend their "kingdoms of Taifas "and little concerned, to say nothing, in solving the problems of the neighbors.
They have once again deceived both parties to Totana's neighbors, breaching their electoral promises not to raise taxes after realizing that there are no magic wands or miracle solutions.
