Users of the Day Center for People with Mental Illness of the City of Totana made last 31 January a visit to the city of Murcia to visit the Salzillo Museum.

The output is framed in several programs of the day center, such as autonomy, educational, cultural and knowledge of the environment in order to rehabilitate, integrate and improve the autonomy of people with mental illness of the day center.

The displacements were made by train of Cercanías and once there the routes were combined with others in urban transport.

The guided visit to the Museum was carried out along its 7 rooms, through which they brought the users to this museum space to promote knowledge of the work of Francisco Salzillo and the important artistic heritage of the Region of Murcia.

After the visit, users and professionals spent in the day in the city where they ate and made purchases in the establishments of the city.

Thanks to this visit they have achieved one of the objectives present in the center's programming, and it is to improve the quality of life of people who have a mental health diagnosis.
