The Department of Works and Infrastructure has begun this week the paving works of several streets of the urban area that are most deteriorated.

The councilman of the branch, Víctor Balsas, has visited, accompanied by municipal technicians, the works in order to know firsthand the development of them.

The Local Government Board already approved last October the proposal of the Councilor of Contracting to adjudicate and undertake this work.

Thus, the project was awarded to the commercial "ETOSA, Obras y Servicios Building, SLU", for an amount of 31,798.08 euros, the paving of Calasparra streets from Moratalla street to Ulea street;

And San Cristóbal Street, between Padre Melchor de Benisa and Santa Eulalia Avenue.

In addition, will be arranged during these days and within the same performance also the streets De Abajo and Father Melchor de Benisa, respectively, with a term of execution of one month.

These roads have a pavement road based on pavement of hot bituminous mix very deteriorated and exhausted, which has been partially patched thanks to multiple punctual repairs, but which requires a performance through its complete renovation.
