Users of Totana Mental Illness Day Centers have made a total of 95 Christmas dolls that merchants associated with the Association of Merchants will exhibit in their businesses during the upcoming Christmas campaign.

The Councilor for Social Welfare, Javier Baņos, and the president of the Association of Merchants of Totana, Francisco Andreo, have presented this initiative that day centers have developed in collaboration with this entity for the Christmas shopping campaign.

The Totana Day of Intellectual Disability Centers have collaborated with the elaboration of these Christmas details that will serve to decorate the associated businesses during these next holidays.

This is the third year in which this collaboration takes place, which has progressed that will continue also the next, and that on the one hand contributes to giving visibility and to favor the integration of people with intellectual disease, while also making it possible to boost trade Through the placement of an attractive and common Christmas ornament for all members of the Merchants Association.

The work has been developed in the occupational workshop with inexpensive materials such as plastic cups, paper, cardboard, eva rubber, staples and silicone, the results of which are decorative snowmen.

The edil thanked the work of the professionals of the centers and the trust of the Association of Merchants for re-trusting in the skills of the users of the day centers of Totana.

In addition, he explained that users have worked with this initiative, many social and work skills, such as teamwork.

Motor skills, effort, completion of tasks, completion of work, scheduling, among others.

Francisco Andreo thanked the users and staff of the aforementioned Day Center for the work done to elaborate some figures that will contribute to decorating and setting up the associated commercial establishments during the Christmas and Kings campaign.
