The Department of Sports of Totana City Council has decided this year as the main novelty that the Popular Race "Constitution Day" held on December 6, moves its route to the urbanization "El Parral, since years ago Was celebrating in the vicinity of the municipal park "Marcos Ortiz".
The Councilor for Sports, Isabel María Molino, and the municipal coach of Sports, Jesús Serrano, have presented this sport that is celebrated within the program of activities of the patron saint festivities of Santa Eulalia.
This way, the exit and the goal will take place this year in Santomera Street, at the height of the Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez", starting at 10 o'clock in the morning, with absolute proof, which includes categories Cadet, junior, junior, promises, senior and veterans, with an urban route of 5 kilometers, having to travel three laps to a circuit.
In addition, from 11:00 hours will begin the rest of the races, starting with the children's test (1200 meters);
At 11:30 am the fry test (1000 meters);
At 12:00 hours the youngest (600 meters);
At 12:30 hours the prebenjamín (400 meters);
And to the 12:45 hours category minibenjamín (300 meters).
According to the mayor of Sports, will be given trophies for the top three in each of the categories and, in addition, in the absolute race will have trophy the top three in the overall standings and the top five.
The organization plans to hold two trophy awards (one after the absolute test and the other at the end of all races in the different categories).
A technical shirt will also be given to all participants of the absolute test, and a medal will be given to all athletes of the minibenjamín and prebenjamín tests, since these races are participative, so that there is no classification.
Registrations can be formalized in the Department of Sports and on the web www.asuspuestos.com until Thursday, December 1 (registrations will not be allowed on the day of the test).

As explained, in the case of the categories of young to youthful, the inscriptions must be formalized compulsory in the schools, through the Physical Education teachers, as this test is classified for the Regional End of Field Through Of School Sports, organized by the Sports General Directorate.
The inscriptions for the absolute test have a cost of five euros, while for all other tests are totally free.
The collection of riders will be performed the same day of the test, from 09:00 hours, and up to five minutes before each of the tests, in the "Manolo Ibáñez" Sports Pavilion.
The Department of Sports counts for this race with different services for the corridors like wardrobe, showers, changing rooms, equipment at the end of the test, as well as services of infirmary and ambulance.
Both encouraged all the totaneros to participate in this traditional celebration of the sport and they requested the collaboration and understanding to all the affected neighbors in the route;
At the same time they thanked their involvement to sports volunteers and sponsors, as well as to the Department of Services, Civil Protection and Local Police.
