The Local Government Board has approved the proposal of Councillor for Youth, Inmaculada Blazquez, for the implementation of the program "Youth Correspondents" for the school year 2016/2017, in the IES "Juan de la Cierva y Codorniu" and " Prado Mayor "of Totana.
This initiative has the technical advice and supervision of Informajoven of the Youth Council of the City of Totana, in coordination with the IES, as well as the Department of Youth and the Directorate General of Quality Education and Vocational Training.
For this school year 2016/17, they are 4 students of IES "Juan de la Cierva y Codorniu" and "Prado Mayor" to develop this program and that it will perform in the information points of the IES, developing a broad social and educational work where young people can express what their concerns and the correspondent channel their demands.
The launch of the seventh edition of the program "Youth Correspondents" aims to decentralize information to young people by providing access to it;
on the one hand, informing and disseminating social, economic and cultural resources in the field of youth, they are available in the area of Murcia and, on the other hand, collecting concerns and preferences of young people in the area in which moves.
