The Day Centre for Persons with Mental Illness Totana City Council yesterday the traditional end of year in the Socio-Cultural Center "Jail, which was attended by users, professionals and relatives.
This year, attended various authorities, including the Minister of Family and Equal Opportunities, Violante Thomas, the mayor, Juan José Canovas, the first deputy mayor, Andres Garcia and the Councillor for Social Welfare, Javier Baths, as well as a broad representation of local Corporation, among others.
It was a very emotional ceremony in which the great work showed that the professional team and all the people who attend the center have been doing this last year 2015/2016.
The most endearing moment we staged users when one to one center was reminiscing important memories of his childhood, and that marked their lives positively.
A project that has made the center with the International Baccalaureate students from IES "Juan de la Cierva" and where he has worked in the exercise of memory, oral and written expression and interaction with others.
Also they explained to the large audience the objectives that have worked in recent months and have improved their effort and help from professionals.
During the ceremony, he thanked through public recognition collaboration of companies, organizations and a large number of people who have worked during this period altruistic and disinterested in carrying out some activities of the Day Center for Persons with Mental Illness Totana.
As the end of each course, it has given users a diploma in recognition of their achievements during this year.
In celebration of a video made by the users which includes joy and positivism with which every day working in the Day Centre was shown.
