Totana Town Council is the beneficiary of a grant whose purpose is the provision of reconciliation of work life and private life in the amount of 9,850 euros, which will allow the realization of a project during the coming Christmas school holidays.
This award is funded by the Department of Family and Equal Opportunities of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, and financed by the European Social Fund.
As the subject of this grant, the City of Totana raises a draft Schools in holiday periods during the month of December 2016, aimed at children with enrollment centers and Primary Education of the municipality of Totana.
This project comes as a response to the socio-educational child and youth population of the municipality of Totana, in order to strengthen this resource as a valid and effective for families in the field of reconciling work and family life tool.
The reality of the municipality presents the growing demand for conciliation by families with school-age children.
According to sources of the Youth Council, donciliar the holiday periods of employer's holiday dates and the Christmas holidays with work or training for employment is an important effort for these parents, as more and more families in both parents are working or, if necessary, receive training for job search.
It is, in conclusion, to provide a necessary service in the resort for families with dependent children of school age (3-12 years), where the reconciliation of work and family life and the social and educational welfare of children are the highest priority.
