The mayor, Juan José Canovas, and the Councillor for Economic Development, Antonia Camacho, have recently visited the facilities of the local company engaged in the manufacture and distribution of horticultural products "Semilleros Deitania, SL", located on the road of Mazarrón.
During the visit the municipal authorities have seen firsthand the production processes of manufacture and distribution of products with which they operate, offering all kinds of plants for agriculture, such as tomato, broccoli, cantaloupe, watermelon, zucchini, peppers, cauliflower, cucumber, among many others.
They have been able to see the facilities available to society for the attainment of plants and processes quality and innovation being developed by the company and the service they provide in grafted watermelon, tomato, melon and cucumber varieties .
They also visited the greenhouses of the company, consisting of three sectors with an approximate area of ​​80,000 square meters;
and whose distribution processes reach farms in the Region of Murcia, Valencia and Castilla La Mancha.
Similarly, they have seen firsthand germination chambers used for optimum germination of each variety, as well as systems of automatic seeding machinery to ensure the quality of the plants and customer satisfaction.
Municipal officials have verified the proper maintenance and improvements applied to their infrastructure, machinery and other equipment to ensure the quality of products demanded by the market, just as the use of the latest technology in its processes of information and communication control the quality of services.
They have also known processes adequate customer service, rapid collection of packaging to deliver products as agreed with customers and the organization for a system ostión quality in line with the continuous and demanding improvement of their owners.
