The City of Totana and professional hospitality organizations deTotana organized for next Friday, July 22, in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, presentation and popular tasting called "argárico Menu", within the program of supervisory celebrations of Santiago'2016.
The initiative is organized by the associations of Hospitality Totana (ASEMHOS) and Innkeepers of deTotana Center Shops (CHACT) together with the Association of Artisans Pasteleros deTotana (aspart) and has the support of totanero Consistory.
The councilors of Celebration, Agustin Gonzalo Martinez and Archaeological Sites, Inmaculada Blazquez, accompanied by the presidents of CHACT, Martin Miras, and aspart, Jose Martinez, unveiled the features of this argárico menu that next Friday, from 21:30 pm attendees price of 5 euros will be offered.
The menu has been developed trying to adapt as much as possible to what was eaten at that time with a clear predominance of cereal, for what has been counted, as explained the president of CHACT, with the collaboration of municipal technicians, archaeologists and restaurateurs of the municipality that presented different proposals among the dishes that make it up finally selected.
For the price of 5 euros, people who come can enjoy dishes that make up this menu, the next is a argárica salad composed of arugula, alfalfa sprouts, red berries, pine nuts and walnuts seasoned with lemon vinaigrette and honey .
The first dish is a sweet wheat and vegetable stew;
the second, called Nido de La Bastida is a seasoned pork cheeks with honey, rosemary and wheat based bread and dessert one argárica tile and a liqueur wine, fennel, thyme and honey is offered.
In addition, they will also participate in a sweepstakes whose prize winner will be the height of Coca Cola products.
In this sense, Martin Miras said that the intention is that this initiative will not stay here unless you have continuity, for what is working on the possibility that after these hottest time can offer this menu at a price to be determined catering establishments in the town you want to join.
Councilwoman Archaeological stressed that this was a novel and interesting proposal which will transport us 4,000 years ago through the palate and can become a perfect complement to the visit of La Bastida, which can certainly be beneficial to the tourism and hospitality sector.
For his part, Councilman Celebration stressed that this argárico menu will not disappoint and will provide a boost to La Bastida and Totana, so, like everyone, he encouraged residents and visitors who come this Friday to taste this gastronomic proposal.
