Totana City Council and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs "Guadalentín Emprende" have signed a cooperation agreement to promote youth entrepreneurship at the municipal level.
The Mayor of Totana, Juan José Canovas, and the president of the association, Miguel Angel Sola, have signed this agreement which is valid for one year and whose ceremony was held in the new Business Incubator Totana.
Under the agreement, the consistory undertakes, during the term of this agreement, to keep approved in plenary in October 2012 incentives to keep 50% of the amount of tax paid by the tax Facilities, Building and Construction ;
and 50% of the tax rate paid by the fee for issuing administrative documents.
In addition, the City is committed to informing young people of the municipality and the public in general, subsidies or incentives for the establishment of young entrepreneurs offers.
It also advocates seek to anyone who requests the maximum information and assistance in processing the necessary administrative procedures for starting business activities by the staff of the City Council responsible for these procedures.
The Consistory is obliged to attend, inform and advise young entrepreneurs on the creation and establishment of businesses in the municipality, providing them how much instrumental help it be accurate in order to achieve its objectives;
and in particular for the design and implementation of their business projects.
For its part, the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of this region "Guadalentín Emprende" undertakes to disseminate among its members and the general public, facilities Municipal Business Incubator "Vivem";
and promote the installation on the same both new companies and entrepreneurs in their business incubator.
This agreement is signed because the city of Totana attributed to young entrepreneurs value driving force behind the local economy, and, from that position, the creators of employment and guarantee the development of the municipality.
For this reason, is considered positive commitment to all initiatives that propose courses of action aimed at promoting young entrepreneurs, and especially, collaboration with business associations formed for the same purpose, with whom to join efforts in achieving common goals.
"Guadalentín Emprende" is a business organization, non-profit organization that associates young entrepreneurs under forty, whose objectives include the representation, management and defense of the professional and business interests of its members, and the promotion and development generating business for them, through activities and means at its disposal.
