The mayor, Juan José Canovas, has raised a motion to regular full of July to request Renfe reserving a special wagon and high capacity for transporting bicycles on the path Cercanías Murcia-Eagles during weekends and holidays national and regional character.
This proposal of the Mayor is presented in order to promote the use of public transport and as an incentive measure of sporting and family tourism in the natural areas of the municipality of Totana, as well as urban space with its historical and cultural attractions, also allowing that all residents of Totana to do so in the rest of municipalities and cities covering the line Murcia-Aguilas.
The motion seeks to facilitate and make more attractive the arrival of visitors to our people and municipalities that make up the commuter train route Murcia-Aguilas.
Totana has many routes and natural sites such as Sierra Espuña, Archaeological Sites, Greenway to Cartagena, attractions and the Sanctuary of La Santa, so it becomes a tourist attraction of the first order.
