The Local Government Board has accepted the direct grant from the Autonomous Community amounting to 27,710 euros to develop during 2016 a support project to cover basic needs of families in vulnerable situations, according to sources of the Department of Welfare Social.
The project is aimed to cover basic needs for food, hygiene, clothing, etc.;
and facilitating access to other services such as health, education (school supplies and aids dining room), housing (rent, improving the living conditions of housing and supplies) and employment, as well as support and social work the families.
These grants are part of a regional decree for direct grants to municipalities and associations of social services in the Region of Murcia for the development of actions to meet basic needs of the family, to support work and family reconciliation and projects for intervention services and family support.
