The councilman of Culture, Eulalia Moreno, handed over to representatives of Caritas in the two parishes of Totana of all food collected during promoted by the municipal "Mateo Garcia" library to mark the range of activities of World Book Day campaign.
The campaign was conducted, promoted by the municipal officers of the municipal department from 11 to 29 April;
and allowed the collection of food in various activities such as "Solidarity Square" or the weekly market.
With this initiative each user to carry nonperishable food fund a book duplicate of the municipal library was carried.
Those responsible for the Caritas thanked the Department and the people, users of the library, which have contributed to this worthy cause their participation and donation of food to the neediest families.
They also explained that it is "social justice" to get this food to the needy in Totana, so it will be a good cast and good use of them.
