The Director General of Trade and Handicraft of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Francisca Cabrera, visited at noon today COATO, accompanied by the head of the Centers for Handicrafts of the Region.
The purpose of the visit was to see the facilities where artisans COATO products (almond, honey, paprika, oil and mantellina) are produced as well as the Bioshop store.
The President of COATO said the Director General of Commerce, as occurred bet COATO for quality and sustainability, as well as food artisans and accreditation of the Bioshop store, first by the ISO 175000 and AENOR and after the system quality and excellence of the regional Administration of the Suns Murcia, Commerce Trust, of which the Bioshop shop is the only one of the six hundred shops accredited by the system of regional excellence, which holds the highest distinction of the 3 Soles.
At the meeting they were also present in addition to the representatives of the Directorate General and COATO the President of the Association of Artisans of Totana and the Councillor for Commerce and Handicrafts of the City of Totana, Antonia Camacho.
Afterwards all participants in the visit, have known of the facilities in which they are located and are authorized for the manufacture of craft products COATO, which bear the stamp of craftsmanship of the Region of Murcia, of which COATO sells about 240,000 units per year or about 800 a day.
They also were visiting the store Bioshop which exhibit a wide range of artisans and organic products, and among which are several craft products that are packaged in made in the potteries area products.
To end the visit all participants tasted some craftsmen COATO products.
