The TUP, about information files on the table from the previous term, believes that they need clarification, "especially to prevent neglect and dereliction of duties and to ensure that crimes do not prescribe possible."
"This would be the case of investigations or disciplinary proceedings which may affect municipal officials who had or had incurred in clear cases of incompatibility," the statement added.
From the TUP, it requires these records be expedited and resolved to dispel any doubts about the current policy makers "as it would be inconsistent and illegal protect possible cases under what is labeled as a guideline from the central executive".
And, in the inaugural address, Pedro Sanchez (PSOE) referred to measures to prevent corruption in the public sector (civil servants and public officials), including a tightening of conflicts of interest and incompatibilities.
According to the latest CIS, concern about corruption among citizens is triggered, so the TUP considers it a priority to fight corruption.
