The mayor, Juan José Canovas, has recently met with board members of the Illustrious Cabildo Processions Superior Totana in order to coordinate joint and common for the preparation of the events of Holy Week 2016 performances.
Alderman has shown a willingness to collaborate from the city of Totana in all actions aimed at showcasing each and every religious and social activities to help improve and dignify Easter.
Juan Jose Canovas has renewed the commitment of the government team as well has occurred in previous legislatures, to encourage collaboration between the two institutions under the impulse of those projects and initiatives arising in the coming weeks for our Easter.
The meeting, which was attended by President of the Illustrious Cabildo Processions Superior, Antonio Martinez Belchí, served to coordinate municipal services necessary for the normal development of processions and liturgical acts in the street.
Easter is a unique tool for disseminating our culture, our roots and our customs;
and it is for this reason that the municipal institution will work hand in hand in this Illustrious Cabildo in all those actions to their proper development and celebration.
The mayor reiterated its offer of collaboration of the Consistory in all projects and joint initiatives that contribute to the development and promotion of Easter Totana, while issues have been discussed on economic cooperation.
