The group of young people participating in the integration project of the town of Totana socio have made a living part of the activities that participants developed within the framework of this project since July 2009.

This time the group has enjoyed the facilities of the Museum of Ethnic Music Barranda which houses the collection of tools of the ethnographer and musicologist Carlos Blanco Fadol.

The visit has been planned as a recreational activity such as training and awareness as this museum invites communication and understanding between different cultures through a common element as is the music.

After the visit, made a didactic approach to the Shrine of the True Cross of Caravaca together with educators, where they meet one of the most significance for the region and particularly relevant in this year that marks the jubilee year the locality.

After this tour the group traveled to the natural landscape of the Fuentes del Marqués where they made the food, a visit to the environment and cooperative games and an evaluation of their activity.

The mayor of Social Welfare and Citizenship has highlighted the importance of such activities to groups of young immigrants or at risk of social exclusion within the social-educational program being developed with these groups since 2009.

It also designed a series of specific activities of both leisure and school support and computer to continue working with children throughout the month of July.

The activities will resume again in September and the project will remain open to new participants, even during the summer.
