The Ordinary General Assembly held in Mazarrón AEMC

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, Councillor for Industry, José Antonio Valverde Queen, and Councilman of the City Comprehensive Maintenance, Sergio López, participated in the Annual General Meeting of the Association of Employers of the Construction of Low Guadalentín (AEMC), held in Mazarrón.

This meeting was also attended by the president of the Federation of Employers of the Construction of the Region of Murcia, Fulgencio Belando, AEMC Chairman, Agustín Sánchez, AEMC manager, Fernando Méndez and the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya , Librilla Mayor, José Martínez, councilors from other municipalities, as well as numerous businessmen and builders in the area.

During the assembly, where the AEMC responsible for the management realized conducted in 2009, requested the support of all public institutions to be those which support the construction sector with the implementation of effective measures.

In this sense, as stated in the publication of AEMC, highlights the contributions of the City of Totana to the organization that stands between the youth campaign "Now, You Save" and the participation of manufacturers with benefits for the winners of competition on the route of the lid.

Other measures that benefit the sector totanero driven from the Consistory, as the mayor explained, is the reduction of 50 percent of the Tax on Building and Construction Facilities for companies that build housing and 40 percent for owners thereof.
