The La Santa Foundation will organize a program of activities next weekend, which highlights a cycle of presentations that will be held over the next weekend, to commemorate the 375th anniversary of the Patronage of Santa Eulalia de Mérida in the city ​​of Totana, given that this was made official on March 1, 1644.
The mayor and president of the La Santa Foundation, Juan José Cánovas, the pastor of Santiago and vice president of this entity, Francisco José Fernández, and the councilor for Culture, Verónica Carricondo, have presented this cycle of talks to be held at the Sanctuary of the Patron of Totana.
The program starts this Friday, October 25, at 8:00 p.m., with the round table "Camino Eulaliense, opening the way";
and in which the pilgrimage project started this year between Totana and Mérida will be discussed
On Saturday, October 26, at 10:00 a.m., an institutional reception will take place at an Emeritus delegation in the plenary hall of the Totanero Consistory, in charge of local authorities.
That same day, at 6:00 p.m., the official presentation of the video "Santuagio de La Santa, Sierra Espuña Gate" will be held, also in the hermitage of Santa Eulalia.
In addition, the presentations “Santa Eulalia de Mérida and Totana, greatness of the small†and “El Hornito de Santa Eulalia and the Temple of Marsâ€, will be held by Antonio Mateos Martín de Rodrigo and José María Ãlvarez Martínez respectively.
The events will conclude on Sunday October 27 with a holy mass, at 11:00 hours, in the Sanctuary of the Patroness of Totana.
