The Government Council has authorized in its session last Thursday, at the proposal of the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy, two agreements with the municipalities of Alhama de Murcia and Totana for the maintenance of early care centers located in these municipalities, serving children under six years of age with temporary or permanent therapeutic needs caused by limitations, developmental alterations or at risk of suffering from it.
In Totana, the agreement includes a subsidy of 126,214 euros to develop early care programs in the municipality, of which the IMAS provides 97,610 euros and the rest, 28,604 euros, are funded by the Consistory totanero.
These grants are intended for the development of prevention, detection and diagnosis programs, as well as therapeutic intervention in these children under six years of age, as well as for family environment counseling, which will receive information, guidance, training and support to address the situation of their children, and coordination with other centers or services for the development of their functions.
