Civil Protection volunteers and members of the Civil Guard have rescued this morning a person, a neighbor of Totana, who had been trapped in his vehicle on the Road to Juan Teresa at its intersection with the Guadalentín River, which accumulates an important flow in this place, in the deputation of Lébor.

The rescued man was on the roof of his vehicle that had been immobilized at the time of his rescue.

Civil Protection insists on the need to respect the signs of the roads that are cut off to traffic and that precautions are extreme not by traveling or parking in flood areas, or at the intersections of waterways or near the Guadalentín River where important trawls are still taking place .

It is also recommended to stay away from torrents and low areas of hillsides and hills.
