The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, has called for tomorrow, July 18, at 16:30 hours, the Board of Spokespersons in order to streamline some of the issues that were on the table in the Plenary political and administrative configuration of the past Monday.
The order of the day is constituted by the proposals of the Mayor's office on the appointment of municipal representatives in collegiate bodies and in other organs and institutions;
as well as to appoint the representative of the Corporation in the Municipal School Council and the municipal representatives in the School Councils of the educational centers of Totana.
Likewise, the compatibility reports of José Antonio Andreo Moreno, current elected councilor of the Mixed Group, will be addressed by the party "Plataforma Ciudadana Ahora Totana" and official of the Totana City Council.
The presidency of the Informative Committees, the General Assembly of Proinvitosa and Cedeto will also be discussed;
the delivery of the report of the Intervention Services on the meeting held yesterday at the Ministry of Finance in Madrid;
and the spaces and technical means for the municipal political groups.
The Plenary of the City of Totana left on the table on Monday several points of general interest that formed the order of the day, including the proposal of the Mayor's office to determine the compensation for assistance to collegiate bodies, subsidies to municipal political groups and the remunerations to the councilmen with exclusive dedication of the local Government.
The mayor explains that this issue has not been included in the agenda of the Board of Spokespersons because the Mayor's Office has already made his proposal, and now it is the opposition groups who have to present alternatives to this initiative.
The Mayor's proposal established compensation of 250 euros for full attendance, 180 euros for the extraordinary plenary session, 60 euros for the permanent information commission, 140 for the Local Government Board and 40 euros for the Board of Spokesmen.
In addition, an indemnity of 50 euros was established for attendance at the Pediatric Board to each of the pediatric mayors.
It was also estimated a quarterly subsidy of 250 euros to each municipal political group, increased by the amount of 450 euros for each councilor that compose it, which would be used to meet the expenses of ordinary operation of the group.
In the same way, the following system of remuneration was determined, which is annual gross amounts and payable in fourteen monthly installments: 38,000 euros for the position of mayor-president, on a full-time basis;
and 29,000 euros to the five deputy mayors, on a full-time basis.
