The Local Government Board has approved the proposal of the council of Contracting, Ana María Cánovas, to award the company "Fórum San Patricio, SA", amounting to 33,877.88 euros, the improvement works of the sewerage network in the Callejón of Valle del Guadalentín and Extremadura, respectively.
The contract has been processed through an open procedure and a total of nine tendering companies have been submitted to it.
The City Council has, within the scope of its powers, provide the public service of drinking water supply at home and evacuation and treatment of wastewater.
In this sense, it was necessary to carry out the works referred to to correct the abnormal functioning of the stretches of the sewerage network in order to avoid leaks to the land that may affect the public (road) and private (constructions) properties. .
In addition, this action aims to eliminate traffic accidents caused by possible subsidence of the road and provide optimal transport and evacuation of wastewater that are generated at the points of the streets indicated.
