On Sunday 23, Santomera disputed the seventh scoring round for the Faster Wear Mountain Bike Cup organized by the Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia, as far as Gabri (who is competing in the championship in second position of the general classification) and Antonio Gines, hurrying the preparation for the next objectives of the season.
The race had a very hard and technical course that was developed by the surroundings of the Sierra de Carrascoy and the Valley, with a distance of 45 km and a positive elevation of 1500 meters.
Already in race Gabri suffered some mechanical problems, which made him lose some time but had very good, finishing in the position 23 of the general and 5 th in senior category A. As for Antonio Gines confirmed his great state of form entering 14 of the general and 9th in senior category B.
Next Saturday, the runners of the Grasshopper Framusa will travel to María where they will compete for the X Jamón de Maria MTB Route, a scoring test for the Almería provincial circuit of half marathon.
