The storms will develop from midday and, although they will not affect the entire Region, wherever they fall they can be intense and discharge hail, as well as being accompanied by abundant electrical equipment and strong gusts of wind.
The entire Region, with the exception of Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón, is in yellow warning for storms and rains that can accumulate 20mm / h.
The storms are not expected to reach the coastal area of ​​the Guadalentín Valley.
The probability will be high throughout the interior, but as we said before, they will not fall in all areas.
The models foresee that the storms begin to discharge from 14:00 or 15:00 in areas of Moratalla, Caravaca and Lorca, to extend towards zones of the center of the Region.
Later, they would also develop in the northeast, in areas such as the Altiplano and the Abanilla-Fortuna basin.
This spatial and time distribution must always be taken with caution.
Friday and Saturday some storms could still be recorded, initially less intense and more isolated.
Coinciding with the end of August, intense storms could again affect some areas of Spain, but that will have to be followed day by day.
