The Department of Water and Sewerage of the City of Totana has recently completed the installation works of a stretch of sewer network between Avenida Juan Carlos I and Ramón y Cajal Street, whose works has been undertaken in recent weeks the commercial "Construcciones y Excavations Sánchez López, SLU "for an amount of 22,886.48 euros.
The Local Government Board awarded almost a month ago the minor contract to perform this action, which has had the supervision of the technicians of this municipal department.
The councilor of the branch, Antonia Camacho, has visited the works on numerous occasions in order to monitor the state of execution of the same and try to expedite them.
With this work it was intended to correct the abnormal operation that this stretch of the sewerage network had for a long time.
These actions will, from now on, prevent leaks to the land that may affect public (roads) and private (constructions) properties, eliminate traffic accidents due to possible subsidence of the roadway and offer optimal transport and evacuation of wastewater.
