The Department of Works and Infrastructure informs that this Monday, July 16, will begin the refurbishment works of the sidewalks in Juan XXIII Street that aim to improve accessibility and boost this commercial space of the urban area.
For this reason, neighbors, drivers, pedestrians and users are asked to forgive the inconvenience caused during the duration of the works, which have a deadline of approximately one month.
The Local Government Board already approved in the middle of last June the proposal of the councilor of Finance and Contracting, Ana María Cánovas, to award to the company "Constu-Archena, SL" the minor contract for the refurbishment works of the sidewalks in Juan XXIII street, between José Antonio Requena and Juan de la Cierva streets of this town, amounting to 26,287.25 euros.
This action is part of the subsidies of the General Directorate of Trade, Consumption and Administrative Simplification to the municipalities, within the plan to finance actions and investments for the reactivation of open shopping centers for the adaptation of municipal infrastructures to the exercise of retail trade for improvement of its competitiveness
