The Department of Culture has made a selection of books with the theme of diversity on the occasion of the Week for Respect and Equality of LGTBI Collective in the municipal library "Mateo Garcia", which begins today and continues until next week , according to sources in this department.
In addition, a sculptural piece has been placed that symbolizes an exaltation of the beauty of the human body in all its dimensions;
an artistic demonstration donated by the local artist Domingo Cerón.
The work tells us of the courage to be oneself and makes us reflect on our own sensitivity, the importance of forging our identity and our capacity for freedom to become what we want through the sum of our own life experiences.
A metaphor of the segmental technique of the work that unites the hardness and strength of iron, as opposed to the fragility and vulnerability of our bodies in constant evolution and transformation, living in what we want without fear of breaking molds with the established and our own inner struggle.
