The top 8 ranked players in each category faced each other in what is the last official test of the season at the regional level.
Twelve players of the Totana TM club were qualified to compete in this test that serves as preparation for the last and most important of the season, the Spanish Championships that will be played in Antequera from June 22 to July 1.
Two third parties, two seconds and a first place got the totaneros players.
CESAR TEJEDOR TERCERO IN BENJAMINES.
In the category benjamín magnificent third place of César Tejedor.
The smallest of ours won the other three components of his group.
Then he lost in the semifinals a very nice match against the champion Mario Matas to then win the game for third place.
Víctor Velez finally occupied the 5th place while Alex Martínez and Adrián Ruíz were 7th and 8th respectively.
CAYETANO SECOND ALEVIN.
In the juvenile category our representative Cayetano Rodríguez, with a good game, was runner-up making a very good group stage in which he won all his rivals except Catevilla de Mazarrón.
In the semifinals he beat Hector Carrillo and then in the final he gave back to the Mazarron.
GABRIEL SEGUNDO INFANTIL.
In the children's category, another runner-up of our club, Gabriel Sánchez, still a youngster, was second.
He won all three of his group matches, overcame the semi-final and then gave in the final against Enrique Limonta of El Palmar, who was the champion.
On the other hand, Alejandro López had to settle for the 6th place.
SANTIAGO THIRD YOUTH.
In the junior third place of Santiago.
Overcoming the first phase in second place, lost the semifinal and then won the third place to Víctor Sánchez in a hurry 3-2.
Domingo Jr. was third in his group so he had to settle for the fight for the 5th place that finally was the one he occupied.
On Sunday morning the veteran and absolute categories were played.
It was very difficult to get into the absolute category between the first eight and Julian and Domingo Jr. had achieved it.
Great matches of both, long points and many surprises were in this category.
Julian finally was 6th and Sunday Jr. 7th.
The champion was the Murcian Alberto Olmedo.
VICENTE CARREÑO VETERAN CHAMPION.
In the category of veterans Vicente Carreño was proclaimed champion in a good day in which he surpassed the first phase as second with two wins and one lost against David del Olmo CD Murcia.
After the semi-final and then in the final, this time it beat the Murcia 3-1 proclaiming champion of this category.
ON JUNE 22 THE CHAMPIONSHIPS OF SPAIN BEGIN IN ANTEQUERA.
The next June 22 will begin in Antequera the Championships of Spain by categories, Last and most important test of the season at national level in which there will be participation of the club Totana TM.
For lack of budget will not be as extensive as it should be but at least there will be totanera representation.
Teams will take part in teams in the Alevín category with Gabriel Sánchez, Pepe Carreño and Cayetano Rodríguez who will also participate in the individual and double events.
There will also be a Youth team with the twins Santiago and Domingo who will complete the team with one of the fry and also participate in the individual and double events.
And finally in the under23 category will also enter Julian completing the team with the twins.
