The group "La banda del Mazapán" has released its first cd with which it has also shown its most supportive face since part of the profits from the sales will go to two associations, the International Association of Relatives and Affected Lipodystrophies (AELIP) and the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).
This solidarity action was presented at the "Celia Carrión Pérez de Tudela" Multidisciplinary Center with the assistance of the mayor of Totana, Andrés García Cánovas;
the social worker of AELIP, José Jerez;
the president of the local board of the AECC, Margarita Vicente and the board member of Aelip Maria Presentacion Martinez and Dolores Ros.
In addition, there was also a large representation of the musical group, one of whose representatives, Antonio Rojas, explained how the CD had been developed and where it could be acquired.
In this regard, said that it is sold in different establishments of Totana at the price of 10 euros, of which one euro will go to each association, who also will also have copies to sell, in which case they will also receive € 2 euros.
Also, the cd can also be purchased through the members of the group.
The social worker of AELIP thanked "La banda del Mazapán" for this gesture of solidarity and said that the money they receive will go towards maintaining the portfolio of services that AELIP provides to improve the quality of life of people living with lipodystrophies and their families. as well as to support the investigation.
